Word on the street is that several people have encountered problems when trying to book a hotel room with the Drury Inn and Country Inn & Suites. You must phone the hotels directly and mention that you’d like to book a room in the Lammle/Schumacher wedding block. If you do not mention this, these hotels are FULL.

Please email us if you have done this, and still encounter problems.

Also - These room blocks will only be held until September 14! Please keep this in mind and book early. If, for whatever reason everything fills and you’re left with no where to sleep, please look at the accomodations page on this site. There are other hotel suggestions in a link there.

The invitations are (mostly) in the mail so you should get yours any day now.

We did all of the invitations ourselves - from designing the graphics and text to cutting and gluing the paper - so here’s hoping everyone likes them.  However, because we did everything, there’s always the chance that something got left out.  So if you didn’t get an RSVP response card (or if the dog ate your response card) please use the RSVP link on the right side of this website to let us know to expect you.

Last Saturday, we were fortunate to have our friends and family from the Champaign area join us for a couples shower. We want to thank everyone who made it out. We had a wonderful time!

Wedding plans are moving right along. We recently met with the pastor who will be performing our ceremony, and began to work on details. We have alot to do in the next 60 days, and we’ll be updating you all right along with us. For right now, most of our time is spent putting the finishing touches on the invitations and getting everything set up for the big day!

Can’t wait to see everyone in 60 days.

Invites are going out this week even if we have to stay up until the crack of dawn to finish them on Thursday night. So start checking your mailboxes daily.

Actually, maybe you should check it hourly.

In fact, why don’t you just camp out by your mailbox. Really, I think it’s for the best.
